Excerpt from the walk:
"The inside of the Baptistery is beautifully decorated with frescoes, but the main attraction is the wonderful hexagonal baptismal font made of bronze, marble and enamel. It is decorated with panels representing the life of John the Baptist and was done by the greatest sculptors of the day.
Find €œHerod€s Banquet€ by Donatello, which shows a shocked King Herod being presented with the head of John the Baptist, which is surprising since he agreed to give it to Salome if she danced for him"
