In 2009, NCEA published Weathering the Storm: Moving Catholic Schools Forward, the results of a study that John Convey, Mimi Schuttloffel and Len DeFiore had conducted outlining in some detail a series of strategies to deal with the current challenges facing Catholic schools. In his new book, Dr. DeFiore provides a concise history of the events that led up to the current situation as well as some policy recommendations for addressing them; indeed, this book ends just about where Weathering... begins.
