INSTRUCTIONS TO AVOID BAD TASTE

The issue of bad taste is an issue with ALL alcohol stills-not just our product. It is the nature of alcohol distillation but it can be prevented
1. Wash all components before distilling. This removes any oils/residue from the manufacturing process which can cause bad taste
2. The first portion of the distillate that comes out of the alcohol still is called the "heads" and will ALWAYS taste bad. This is the nature of alcohol distillation with ALL alcohol stills, not just our product. No matter what alcohol you use, the "heads" (the first portion of the distillate) will always taste bad. Hence discard the "heads" to eliminate bad taste.
