This Spyraflo BFM-8M-A self-aligning acetal plastic bearing with a steel flange, two bolt holes, and an 8mm bore diameter supports light loads, moderate speeds, and rotational, oscillatory, or linear motion. The ready-to-mount lightweight steel flanged housing provides strength, resistance to shock loads, and a compact design suitable for limited space applications. The acetyl polymer (Delrin) bearing insert in the housing is self clinching for a secure fit. This self-aligning bearing compensates for static misalignment errors, and exhibits a low coefficient of friction and low stick-slip. It is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for food and dairy applications.
