Spyderco Cricket Nishijin Glass Fiber Plain Edge Knife, Blue, Right
Strands of glass and carbon are drawn into filament-like fibers and then woven into a swirled pattern called Nishijin. The name references a weaving pattern found in the production of Kimono cloth. A glass fiber scale makes up the front of the ergonomically rounded knife and the back stainless steel scale functions as an Chris Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.). The hollow-ground blade is a reverse "S" shape with a curved tip, highly functional for detailed cutting. Crickets are a favorite with both women and men and can be used as a money-clip.
