Sonel WMGBMIC2 MIC-2 500V 2Gohms Insulation Resistance Meter

The MIC-2 from Sonel is an innovative 2Gohms Insulation Resistance Tester (Megohmmeter) coupled with a voltage tester in a compact easy to use design. The MIC-2 has two insulation resistance test voltages of 250V and 500V and is capable of measuring insulation resistance of up to 2GΩ. In addition the MIC-2 will also perform low voltage resistance readings of up to 2000Ω with a measurement current of <10mA with a resolution of 0.1Ω. The backlit LCD display has a segmented bargraph for readings where an analogue style is preferred as well as a full digital readout, and an audible signal in 5 second time intervals helps in measuring time during insulation resistance measurements. The MIC-2 automatically discharges the test object's capacitance after measurement of insulation resistance is completed, and it is also suitable for 50Hz and 60Hz electrical systems. The MIC-2 is a safe instrument, having a CATIV 600V safety rating, and it also has live circuit protection built in, which prevents any insulation resistance measurement from being undertaken if a live circuit carrying more than 20V is detected by the meter. The built in voltage detector is capable of measuring AC/DC voltage of up to 600V on a live circuit and is auto ranging.
