These solar vents are designed to increase ventilation in a variety of spaces including boats, RV's, greenhouses, vans, homes, and any other area where air circulation is a problem. By using one or more vents, you can decrease or eliminate the damaging effects of mold, mildew, moisture, and excessive heat buildup.

These solar vents are easily installed in a 4.5" cutout and, best of all, they run off of the sun only. This means no wiring, no plugs, no noise, and no running cost whatsoever.

All models feature a rechargeable Ni-MH battery allowing the vent to run both under direct sun light and when no direct sun light is available. All models also have an on/off switch. The SVT-224SR Model comes with a remote on-off switch (attached via a 15' cord) that allows the vent to be mounted in less accessible locations. The SVT-224SA comes with a remote solar panel attached to a 15' cord allowing the vent to be installed in areas not under direct sunlight.

Recommended Number of Fans: up to 24 sqft = 1 exhaust vent; up to 40 sqft = 1 exhaust vent and 1 intake vent; 40 sqft or larger = 2 exhaust vent and 1 intake vent.
