Soakin Wet 2
Party Groove: Soakin Wet Volume 2 is jam packed with Billboard #1 hits, exclusive mixes and a world premiere track. The new reworking by Chus & Ceballos on Jody Watley's classic "Looking For A New Love" kicks things off with a sexy vibe, followed by the #1 hits "Most Precious Love" and "Sunshine", perfect choices for an outdoor party, encouraging hands-in-the-air type activity. Chris Cox's mix of the revamped "Le Freak" by Chic originals Norma Jean and Luci M., keeps the energy high as Knapp moves us toward a peak hour sound, with the commanding vocals of Ceevox on the new Mike `Da Wiazard' track "Quick Fix". Knapp also incorporates some of his tribal favorites with the red hot "Tabasco" and new Peter Presta on "The Latin Express." Producer Ellis Miah's new song "Ain't No One" premiere's on Party Groove: Soakin Wet Volume 2, and is the first of several songs remixed by Knapp himself. With a strong final kick to the album, Knapp takes off with Victor Calderone's mix of "Low Frequencies" and then segues into his own exclusive mix of the Funky Green Dog classic "Reach For Me" -- yes it was pulled form the back racks, dusted off and reworked just for this CD. The Billboard #1 hits "Accept Me" and "Shout" go neck and neck in final stretch, before Knapp pulls us back into a big hug with his new mix of "Could It Be Magic."
