Based on the original game from the 1920s, this board game sends players dodging snakes and hoping to reach ladders in order to make it to the end first. Snakes and Ladders originated in India as a game based on morality called Vaikuntapaali or Paramapada Sopanam ("the ladder to salvation"). It dates back as far as the 16th century.
