SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER® contains no carbohydrates. Powdered sweeteners like Sweet'N Low ®, Twin Sweet ®, Equal ®, Splenda® and others contain either dextrose, lactose, or some other form of sugar that is a carbohydrate. For the same reason, SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER contains no calories. Powdered sweeteners do contain small amounts of calories.
