Smith's 50281 Adjustable Edge Pro Electric Knife Sharpener
This electric knife sharpener allows the user to adjust the angle put on both sides of the knife blade to whatever thickness they desire, or to match the angle of the original factory edge with the turn of a knob. The Adjustable Edge Pro Electric Knife Sharpener (Smith’s Item #50281) features two sets of interlocking sharpening wheels (Diamond and Ceramic) that work together in combination to produce a true, factory quality (or better in some cases) cutting edge on even the dullest of knives. This is the first electric knife sharpener of its kind. The interlocking sharpening wheels deliver fast and precise sharpening of both sides of the knife blade equally at the same time while removing very little metal from the knife blade. They eliminate the possibility of marring or damage to your blade, reduce the amount of time needed to sharpen your knife, and leave no burr on the cutting edge. “The sharpness and quality of the cutting edge produced by these sharpening wheels are as good as the factory,†says Richard Smith, President. The Adjustable Edge Pro will sharpen knives of alloy, carbon, or stainless steel with a flat grind on both sides of the blade. This includes hunting/fishing knives, all types of kitchen knives, tactical style knives, custom knives, outdoor sport knives, or everyday pocket knives. It also includes a manual sharpener designed to sharpen most styles of serrated knives that folds into the housing of the product when not in use. It is NOT designed for use on ceramic blades or knives with a grind on just one side of the blade, and it comes with soft grip and non-slip rubber feet for added safety and stability when sharpening.
