The smatree EN-EL18A battery is a rechargeable li-ion battery . You can insert it into the MB-D12 battery grip or your Nikon D800/D800E camera body. It is with the 3300mAh high capacity , which ensures maximum battery life and maximum power. Moreover, it features No Memory Effect ,so you can recharge the partially drained batteries without reducing performance.
This battery grip has the same functions as the original Nikon grip MB-D12.
