• Do Not Add any additional glue or sealant.
• Our Smart Adhesive allows for repositioning during installation.
• After applying pressure on the tiles, Smart Tiles will be positioned permanently.
• The Adhesive is completely welded to the surface after 48 hours.
• The Smart Tiles will remain stable for as long as you wish them to be.
Warranty
The Smart Tiles will stick permanently to your walls, that's our guarantee! The guarantee also applies to design or manufacture defects. For the warranty to be valid, certain conditions apply:
1. Wait a period of three (3) weeks before affixing Smart Tiles on a freshly painted wall to allow the paint to penetrate and dry thoroughly.
2. The surface must be smooth and without dents.
3. The surface must be clean and dry.
4. You should clean the surface with a degreaser such as T.S.P. (trisodium phosphate).
5. During installation, the ambient temperature must be at least 65 °F (18 °C) and should not exceed 95 °F (35 °C).
6. The Smart Tiles should not be exposed to direct steam, nor in direct contact with a heat source and should not be submerged in water (do not install in the shower).
7. To install behind a gas range without a protective rear panel, allow a height of 15 inches (38 centimeters) above the surface to prevent the tiles coming in contact with open flame. Where there is a wall to the right or left side of the range, the Smart Tiles must be installed at least two inches (six centimeters) away.
8. Keep a distance of two inches (six centimeters) between an oven toaster grill and wall covered with Smart Tiles.
9. If you decide to remove the Smart Tiles once they have been firmly applied, they cannot be reused.
10. The Smart Tiles are not designed to cover a floor, countertop or work surface, or to serve as a trivet.
11. For maintenance, you should use a damp cloth and mild soap.
