The Smanos W100 alarm system is a new sleek looking dual network alarm with touch screen. The W100 supports both Wi-Fi and PSTN (landline phones). To set up, plug in your home’s PSTN line and then complete the setup using Wi-Fi via either an iOS or Android device. The free app is available for download via the App store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Setup, monitoring, and controlling of the alarm system is all done via the smartphone app. You can also control and monitor your alarm system via the touch screen interface on the Smanos W100 control panel. The dual networks work in tandem and as backups for each other. When an alarm is triggered, preprogrammed numbers will get a notification call or a push message. The landline is the primary alert and notification method but if the line has been compromised, the alerts are sent out via WiFi.
