Defined footprint with only 6 stake outs makes for the easiest set up of any tarp tent ever made and eliminates "restaking" associated with most tarp tents and trekking pole shelters. The Flashlight 1 is trekking pole compatible and will save a valuable 6oz by using your trekking poles and leaving the 46" vertical poles behind. This reduces minimum weight to less than 3lbs, making this the largest and most livable tent in its weight class. Finally, the gear closet gives you gear storage where it should be, away from the door and can be toggled closed or left open for additional venting while still staying dry in a rainstorm.
