The SF 104-8 is a 10 foot, 4 piece, 8 weight fly rod. The rod blank is an IM-8 graphite. It has a progressive moderate taper and is medium. The cork is Aaa. The stripping guides are Fuji manufactured and double wrapped epoxy coated. The reel seat is anodized aluminum. The double foot snake guides are black coated stainless steel and the tip top is oversized. The interchangeable butt system has a 1.5 inch and a 4 inch butt section. Recommended fly lines are; 8 weight floating switch, 8 weight intermediate and 475-500 grains. The warranty paper is shrink wrapped to the cork handle. The rod comes with its own identifiable rod sock and matching black embroidered carrying case.
