This class 150 Sharpe Valves 25116 series check valve is made of stainless steel 316 for higher strength and greater corrosion resistance than stainless steel 304. Stainless steel 316 is sometimes called "marine-grade stainless steel" due to its resistance to chloride corrosion. It has a bolted bonnet, integral seat, renewable seat ring, and flanged connections on both ends for bolting to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) 150# pipe flanges. This valve can be installed to horizontal or vertical lines. The maximum working pressure is 275 pounds per square inch (psi), and the working temperature range is -20 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This valve meets the following specifications for quality assurance: American National Standards Institute (ANSI) B16.34, B16.10, and B16.5; American Petroleum Institute (API) 598.
