Schuber Wright Titan Aquarium HQI Fixture Plus 8 Actinic LED Light, 26-Inch

The Schuber Wright Titan fixture is built almost entirely out of aluminum to protect against the harshest conditions and to show off it's excellent craftsmanship. The uniquely sleek shape allows this fixture to showcase above aquariums with troubling dimensions. Hanging kit and legs are included to give the user the options of mounting the Titan to their likings. The Titan features 8 Award Winning True AC Actinic Bulbs. These bulbs run cooler as it omits the need for a transformer. In doing so, the lifespan of the bulb is extended. Most AC claiming become useless after the bulbs transformer fails. Not only that, less wattage is used in typical LED bulb's DC to AC conversion, meaning excellent and superior light power out of 4 watts. Also included is a Sylvania 150 Watt DE 10,000k HQI bulb made from Belgium. The ballast running the Sylvania bulb is a UL listed Golden Way Ballast. To prevent acoustic resonance of ceramic discharge in lamps, ballasts must run at a low frequency below 400 Hz. To add, they run 15-20-Percent less energy that standard magnetic ballasts and the slim design of the ballast allows the fixture to also be slimmed designed. The Titan Schuber Wright Fixture features 8 International Award Winning LED true AC bulb developed via a venture in Rand between the Taiwanese Government and the Industrial Technology Research Institute. On-Chip AC LED lighting technology was developed by ITRI Electronics and Optoelectronics Research Laboratories (EOL). It allows AC to directly drive LED chip for lighting without the need for an DC to AC adaptor, thus saving the 15~30ï¼… power consumption that is normally lost during the conversion. When 3D cooling and insertion and removal type packaging are incorporated, the technology leads to realization of the world's first AC LED light bulb.
