Note

The eSATA cable will transfers data and will not power the hard disk. The drive cannot be accessed through both eSATA and USB 3.0 simultaneously. When both are connected, the computer will recognize and interact with the drive via eSATA connection while the USB cable will only supply power to the disk. It is recommended to connect the USB 2.0 cable as well when transferring large amounts of data to ensure a sufficient amount of power.
