The Saint-Gobain 100S Strip-N-Stick gasket tape is a silicone closed cell sponge tape with a repositionable silicone adhesive backing that withstands high temperatures and can be used for gasketing, cushioning, thermal insulation, and vibration dampening. The tape conforms to irregular shapes and adheres to stainless steel, plastics, aluminum, and composites. The sponge is a low compression set foam that returns to its shape after moderate compression. Its resistance to ultraviolet (UV) light, ozone, and fungus growth makes it suitable for outdoor use. The tape withstands temperatures from -100 to +500 degrees F (-73 to +260 degrees C).

Gasket tapes are used for sealing, cushioning, and insulating. Tapes made of foam such as silicone, polyethylene, PVC, or neoprene sponge compress to conform to irregular shapes. Tapes made of solid materials such as rubber, cork, or PTFE are effective on flat surfaces and resist moderate pressure.
