This SMC MS-5H-4 hose nipple tube fitting joins M5 metric male thread to 6 mm OD x 4 mm ID soft nylon and polyurethane tubing, and is suitable for use in confined areas. The M5x0.8 metric thread fitting has a hex head nut and a PVC gasket to ensure an air-tight seal. Its barbed male insert and threaded cap nut provide a reliable retaining force on the tubing. The 316 stainless steel brass fitting is corrosion resistant and has an operating pressure range of 0.8 to 1.0 megapascal (MPa), or 116 to 145 pounds per square inch (psi). This MS series hose nipple tube fitting is suitable for use in pressurized air applications, such as in air-operated controls in corrosive environments.
