This SMC KQL06-01 elbow tube fitting adapts 1/8" BSPT male thread to a push-to-connect fitting for 6 mm OD nylon and polyurethane tubing at a 90-degree angle. The British Standard Pipe Taper (BSPT) thread ensures an air- and water-tight seal. The polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) fitting resists corrosion and has a collet and chuck-type mechanism for single-action connection and disconnection of tubing. The connector has a maximum operating pressure of 145 pounds per square inch (psi), a maximum operating vacuum of -100 kilopascals (kPa), and an operating temperature range of -5 to +60 degrees C. This KQ series elbow tube fitting is suitable for use with air and water in both vacuum and pressure applications, such as in food processing.
