These bath mats are SOFTER and MORE DURABLE because they are MADE IN TURKEY (unlike the "basic" brands which are made in India) where NO BLEACH is used in the manufacturing process. They also have LONG-LASTING, VIBRANT COLOR (including bright whites) from dyeing under high pressure and high temperature for 6-12 hours. For maximum color retention and softness, do not use any bleach or fabric softener when washing these bath mats.
