The Story Behind the Model
The 1957 Chevrolet automotive line had three different two door sedan versions available, the Bel Air, 210 and 150. The 150 Utility was the base model with back seat removed for extra storage space. The 150 Utility Sedan coupled with a new Ramjet fuel injection engine made a full race ready car commonly known as the "Black Widow" because of its black and white paint color. Kit features optional 283 cubic inch V-8 engines with fuel injection or carburetor and automatic or manual transmission, six lug stock wheels with dog dish hub caps, and decals with stock factory and race graphics.

Helpful Hints For Building
Your 57 Chevy® 150 Sedan "Blackwidow" is a Level 2 kit - it is for intermediate model builders. Parental supervision is suggested. Always study the assembly drawings included in the packaging before beginning. Each part is identified by a part number.Trimming to remove extra plastic and filing to smooth before part assembly is suggested. For better paint and decal adhesion, wash the plastic parts in a mild detergent solution. Rinse and let air dry. Check the fit of each piece before cementing in place. Allow paint to dry thoroughly before handling parts.
