Republic of Lebanon Miniature Flag (4 in. x 6 in.)
Lebanon adopted this flag in 1943. It is purposely a neutral flag, not allied with any of the country's religious groups. The red stripes symbolize the blood spilled for liberation. White represents the snow covering the mountains. The green cedar tree symbolizes immortality and steadiness, as well as happiness and prosperity for the country. This flag is dyed on silky, lustrous rayon and is hemmed and mounted to a 10 in. black pole that includes a gold-painted spear. Base not included.
