The Rainshow'r GK-1 Green Knight Hydroponic Dechlorinator uses 2 pounds of KDF-55 to effectively remove over 85-90% of the chlorine from hydroponic garden water, and 2 ounces of energized crystal to reduce water cluster size. It also removes 50-60% of chloramines in pH balanced water (low seven range). It will process a total of 30,000 gallons of water or more. The GK-1 promotes healthy plant nutrition by minimizing the toxic effects of chlorine (and chloramine) disinfection. The Green Knight Hydroponic Dechlorinator is molded in white UV-resistant polypropylene, with a green cap to distinguish it from the Gard'n Gro unit. The Green Knight has been engineered to reduce water flow to 2 gallons per minute, maximizing water contact time with the media.
