Our support cushion's design is optimized for lower back and tailbone health. Instead of having a depression or gap, we've gone ahead and completely removed the section aligning with the coccyx. This means when you sit, your hips and buttocks naturally spread, reducing compression on the tailbone, while there is nothing beneath it to add to pressure. Lower quality cushions that use just a depression may end up exerting pressure over time, as the resiliency of the memory foam breaks down. The carry handle is a cutaway style at the narrow end, which doesn't detract from the cushion's performance.
