Quality CNC Stainless Steel 595 mm M8 Leadscrew-Delrin Nut-Bearing Set
A CNC set comprising of an M8 595 mm stainless steel lead screw, an anti-backlash delrin nut, and 2x8 mm bore flange bearings with 4xM8 stainless steel fixing nuts. This set has been designed specifically for the CNC hobbyist in mind, to provide a low cost solution for providing linear motion when coupled with a stepper motor. The lead screw diameter is 8 mm with a standard M8 1.25 mm pitch. This pitch is ideal for small hobby CNC machines, where large speeds are not required, as the fine pitch provides good precision whilst requiring minimal force from a stepper motor, and thus is suitable for direct drive with small stepper motors. Due to the high resolution (0.00625 mm per full step on a standard 1.8 degree motor) vibration is negligible and a simple drive can be used without micro-stepping, thus further reducing cost. The lead screws are supplied polished and fitted with our delrin anti-backlash nuts which has a standard 1.25 mm pitch. Two flange bearings are supplied for the lead screw which can be easily mounted onto a flat surface of the machine member. The delrin nut is manufactured from grade A delrin (Acetal). This material is extremely hard wearing, and normally does not require lubrication. Due to its mechanical properties there is minimum wear and backlash. The form of the nut is as a rectangular block with 2 mounting holes, and as such can be directly attached to the moving base, without need for brackets or additional items. The compact flange bearings provide convenient easy to mount bearings in a housing with a matching 8 mm bore for the lead screw and has an 8 mm bore diameter. The compact size of this bearing is ideal for small CNC machines where space is limited. The housing is made of a sturdy high density composite material and is fitted with an 8 mm bore bearing. The 2 flange bearings are supplied with 4 stainless steel nuts for fixing to the stainless steel lead screw.
