Quadpod-Closed-Column-Pressure-Extractor-6090-Gram
Closed Column Pressure Extractor (Comes with 1 yr. Limited warranty, excludes gaskets and screen) fits 120-180G depending on the chop. This system allows the user to build up solvent pressure by closing the base valve and filling the extractor, Soaking the material before opening the bottom valve to release the solvent and oil. Sanitary Grade 304 Stainless Steel Tube Fittings and welded Quadpod. 316 Stainless Steel PTFE Ball Valves with a brass flare port and nickel plated base port 1/4 inch. Fine 150 Micron Mesh Blast tube Filters and all gaskets are Nitrile designed for Oil Processing. Temp range -30-200F Includes - 8x8 inch Platinum Cured Silicone Non Stick Pad and Silicone Cup Specifications: Dimensions (Inches): 1.5 inch Diameter Tube by 12 inch long tube. End caps with valves. To operate this system a full vacuum must be pulled on the tube. You may use 1/4inch ID vinyl hose supplied with our chambers on the base of this extractor or you may purchase an HVAC 1/4 inch vacuum hose to attach to the top 1/4 inch flare connection on the extractor. Once a full vacuum is achieved you may then charge the system. Failing to remove the atmosphere will reduce the amount of solvent that the tube can hold. You may us a can adapter to inject butane in the top of the valve itself or you may attach a can tap tool to an HVAC hose. Either method will help you introduce solvent in the system. After introducing solvent to the system you may let it sit for 15-90 minutes. Always remember to vent both valves prior to dismantling the system. Pressure could build up when valves are closed. Tube volume is based on the chop of the material. A fine chop of material will increase the amount of material placed in the tube. Coarse chop will reduce the overall capacity of the tube due to open voids. Not for CO2 Applications!
