Precision Design Micnova Lightning & Motion Activated Shutter Trigger for Nikon D3200, D3300, D5200, D5300, D7000, D7100, D610, D800, D810, D4s DSLR Cameras
The Precision Design Lightning & Motion Sensor Trigger was designed to capture lightning and motion either day or night. It uses microcontroller-based technology along with an infrared sensor to capture the most stunning photographs with complete ease! The device mounts onto the camera hot-shoe or 1/4" tripod mount so you can walk away and let it do all of the hard work.
Depending on the storm, lightning flashes typically last for several hundred milliseconds (ms) and contain dozens of strikes, each occurring approximately 40 milliseconds apart. This lightning & motion trigger has a 0.1 millisecond response time, but total lag time depends on your camera's shutter lag time.
The motion sensor uses a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor that is capable of detecting motion up to 30 feet away. Once motion is detected, the device will trigger your camera every second or up to every 10 seconds depending on the level you choose. The sensor comes with two connector cables (N1 & N3) that allow the lightning & motion trigger to be used with a variety of Nikon SLR cameras.
