PortaPow Fast Charge Only USB Adapter for Apple iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, PS Vita, HTC One, Google Nexus etc

This converter will allow you to charge your Apple, Android or other smartphone or tablet at high speed from any USB socket, even if the charger was not originally designed for your device. Simply plug your USB cable into one end, and the other end into a USB socket. It works on the same principle as our best selling Fast Charge Micro USB and Fast Charge Apple Cables, but this handy little adaptor allows you to use any good quality USB cable. If you've bought a powerful car or mains USB charger but find your device charges slowly, this adapter will most likely solve the problem. Devices such as Blackberry smartphones or the Sony PS Vita do not charge from many USB chargers, this adaptor fixes that.

It is not compatible with the Asus Transformer, or Samsung Galaxy Tab / Note models which use the wide shape connector. iPads on iOS7 will charge at a max of 1A, purchase the Apple version of this adaptor instead.

Simply plug this adaptor between your USB socket and charging cable. It is labelled as 'Fast Charge Only' so you can see clearly what its for.

Even when using this adaptor, charging speed will still be limited by -

1) The maximum charging speed that your device supports - usually the same speed as charging from its original charger.
2) Using a low quality or extra long cable.
3) Using an under powered USB charger/socket. iPhones charge fastest with at least 1A, iPads with at least 2A.

Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 is not supported, if your device uses this standard then this adaptor will allow faster charging from a PC than without the adaptor but for the fastest charging use a Qualcomm mains charger. The Samsung Galaxy S6 / Edge also uses a different standard for the very fastest charging speed.
