Planet Eclipse Ego LV1 Paintball Guns - Midnight
The Planet Eclipse Ego LV1 Paintball Marker is a new chapter in the legend of the Ego! The Planet Eclipse Ego LV1 Paintball Marker utilizes advances never before seen in a paintball marker that overcomes all of the shortfalls of the conventional poppet design while retaining all of its advantages. Eclipse sought to improve the way the Ego shoots and feels, yet still provide the robustness, hassle-free reliability and ease of maintenance they are famous for. Internally the Eclipse Ego LV1 introduces a revolutionary new design that rewrites what can be achieved with this type of platform. The marker incorporates a cam-shaped lever between the rammer and the exhaust valve that is used to separate the action of the rammer and bolt from the action of the valve. This additional element in the mechanism has several major benefits over the conventional direct linked pop-open system, especially with the force required to open the valve and the rate at which the valve is opened. This indirect operation of the exhaust valve means it can be opened slower with less force while retaining seal integrity, something that has hindered other low opening force or balanced valve systems. While existing designs may require a low force to open the exhaust valve they are still bound by the need to overcome blowback using the speed and mass of the bolt which means that the valve has to be opened with a greater speed than is actually required. Often, these designs will also suffer from low closing forces that can drastically affect efficiency. The Ego LV1 eliminates these drawbacks as the valve still utilizes a high closing force to ensure an efficient seal. The lever design requires significantly less force from the rammer to open it the valve. Due to the cam shaped profile of the lever the rate of opening and closing is no longer fixed to the movement of the rammer to allow independent control of the pressure pulse behind the paintball as never seen before.
