Pitsco TETRIX Tank Tread Accessory Kit
The Pitsco 39250 TETRIX Tank Tread Accessory Kit includes 36464 TETRIX Tank Tread Rubber Inserts and 36463 TETRIX Tank Tread Conveyer Paddles for students in grades 9-12 building TETRIX robotics projects. The T-shaped tread inserts are 40mm long and slide into 36460 TETRIX Tank Tread Chain Links (sold separately) to provide extra grip for a robotic project's tank tread. The nylon conveyer paddles have T-shaped ends that slide into TETRIX Tank Tread Chain Links (sold separately) to create conveyance mechanisms. The TETRIX hole pattern on the paddles allows students to attach other TETRIX components (sold separately) to build devices such as scoops and levers on the paddles. The paddles measure 50mm x 40mm (W x D). TETRIX products reinforce science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts for students in grades 9-12 studying robotics and building a working robot that demonstrates engineering, simple machines, force, and Newton's laws of motion. Tank tread inserts and conveyer paddles can be used in an educational setting to build a robot, among other mechanical robotic applications.
Science education products incorporate applied math and science principles into classroom and homeschool-based projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education kits and products alongside science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to demonstrate STEM concepts and real-world applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects include a broad range of activities, such as practical experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.
Pitsco Education develops K-12 science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum, educational kits, and classroom tools. The company, founded in 1971, is headquartered in Pittsburg, KS.
