Pitsco TETRIX Continuous Rotation Servo
The Pitsco 39177 TETRIX Continuous Rotation Servo creates a robot part that can pivot 360 degrees continuously for students in grades 9-12 building robotics projects. The servo has forward and reverse speed control to enable precise movements of robot designs. Its wide neutral dead band helps the servo respond to signals from the controller and stop precisely without extra motion. Dual ball bearings on the output shaft help increase the life of the servo. It operates in a range of 4.8V to 6V to allow for operating tolerances, and it comes with a 12-inch wire to connect it to a servo controller (sold separately). TETRIX products reinforce science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts for students in grades 9-12 studying robotics and building a working robot that demonstrates engineering, simple machines, force, and Newton's laws of motion. A continuous rotation servo can be used in an educational setting to build a robotics project or radio-controlled model such as a vehicle or airplane.
Science education products incorporate applied math and science principles into classroom and homeschool-based projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education kits and products alongside science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to demonstrate STEM concepts and real-world applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects include a broad range of activities, such as practical experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.
Pitsco Education develops K-12 science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum, educational kits, and classroom tools. The company, founded in 1971, is headquartered in Pittsburg, KS.
