Pitsco TETRIX 12-Volt Rechargeable NiMH Battery Pack

The Pitsco 39057 TETRIX 12-Volt Rechargeable NiMH Battery Pack supplies power to TETRIX motors and electrical components for students in grades 9-12 building TETRIX robotics projects. It includes a 20-amp built-in replaceable fuse for safety, and the 10-cell pack provides a capacity of 3,000 mAh for battery life. TETRIX products reinforce science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts for students in grades 9-12 studying robotics and building a working robot that demonstrates engineering, simple machines, force, and Newton's laws of motion. A battery pack provides power to electric devices, tools, and machines, and can be used in an educational setting to power a robotics project.

The battery pack requires a NiMH battery charger, such as the Pitsco 39059 NiMH Battery Pack Charger (sold separately).

Science education products incorporate applied math and science principles into classroom and homeschool-based projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education kits and products alongside science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to demonstrate STEM concepts and real-world applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects include a broad range of activities, such as practical experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.

Pitsco Education develops K-12 science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum, educational kits, and classroom tools. The company, founded in 1971, is headquartered in Pittsburg, KS.
