Pitsco DC Motor Bulk Pack
The Pitsco 39147 DC Motor Bulk Pack includes drive motors, motor cables, and motor shaft hubs for students in grades 9-12 building TETRIX robotics projects. The 12V 39083 DC Drive Motor runs at 146 to 152 rpm under no load and generates 300 ounce-inches of torque for rotational force. The 17-inch 31903 Motor Cable connects a DC drive motor to a 34244 TETRIX DC Motor Speed Controller (sold separately). The heavy-duty aluminum hub has a depth of 6mm and comes with a screw for attaching wheels and gears to motor shafts. Aluminum resists corrosion and tarnishing, and is lightweight. The DC Motor Bulk Pack reinforce science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts for students in grades 9-12 studying robotics and building a working robot that demonstrates engineering, simple machines, force, and Newton's laws of motion. A small drive motor, motor cable, and motor shaft hub can be used in an educational setting to build a robotics project or radio-controlled model such as a vehicle or airplane, among other mechanical applications.
Science education products incorporate applied math and science principles into classroom and homeschool-based projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education kits and products alongside science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to demonstrate STEM concepts and real-world applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects include a broad range of activities, such as practical experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.
Pitsco Education develops K-12 science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum, educational kits, and classroom tools. The company, founded in 1971, is headquartered in Pittsburg, KS.
