Picholine Monocultivar Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
This is a superior extra-virgin olive oil derived from first cold pressing through mechanical process of a single olive varietal - Picholine - growing in Puglia, or in the heel of the Italian boot. Characterized by a bright yellow color, with green hints, this extra-virgin olive oil has a rich taste, with a predominance of artichokes, together with subtle nuances of mustard plants, green tomatoes and herbs. This extra-virgin olive oil is complex but delicate on the palate, with a pleasant blend of bitter and peppery finishes. Best in salads, red meat and seafood dishes.
Picholine monocultivar olives are extremely high in Polyphenol, which have a proved antioxidant action. This extra-virgin olive oil is, as a result, especially healthy.
