Vibration resistance

- Philips moto lamps are made of high-quality quartz glass. UV-Quartz glass is ber than hard glass and highly resistant to temperature extremes and vibrations, which eliminates the risk of explosion. Philips quartz-glass lamps (filament 2650 degree C and glass 800 degree C) are able to withstand severe thermal shock. With the capability for increased pressure inside the lamp, UV-quartz glass is able to produce a more powerful light.

The Philips CityVision Moto series has been designed with city riders in mind. The bulbs produce a distinctive orange glow that grabs the attention of drivers, helping you to be seen earlier to reduce the risk of a nasty accident. The bulbs also produce an additional 40% increase in light output.

The range uses specialist vibration resistance technology - a double coil filament - that help the bulbs to withstand a wide range of vibrations up to 15 G.
