Peachtree Audio X1 Asynchronous 24/192 USB to SPDIF Converter

The X1 is a state-of-the-art asynchronous 24bit /192 kHz USB to SPDIF converter. Simply put, the X1 sits between the USB port on your computer and the Coaxial or TOSlink input on your DAC, and allows you to access high resolution computer audio through the DAC you already own. The X1 is the perfect upgrade for any pre-2012 Peachtree Audio product, or any other 24/192 compatible digital audio device lacking 24/192 USB capabilities. The X1's asynchronous technology ensures the lowest amount of incoming jitter and supports sampling rates of 44.1, 48, 88.2, 176.4, and 192 kHz. The X1 has two high-precision clocks, one for the 44.1 family and one for the 48kHz family, ensuring no sample rate conversion is required. The X1's two outputs, (optical and galvanically isolated coaxial digital), are simultaneously active. The X1 runs off of your computer's USB bus, and requires no additional power supply. No driver is required for use with a Mac, however a simple driver installation is required for use with a Windows PC.
