Pathfinders Strauss Trunnion Moving Bascule Bridge Wood Kit
How To Play Bridge To play bridge, first you have to build one. Like this two-level working model of a Strauss trunion bascule bridge--the French invention that's seen in all the bridges over the Chicago River. The bascule bridge starts as a 30-plus-piece wooden kit and, when finished, is approx 28" long x 11" high x 4" wide. It's designed to carry small wooden toy trains, but will hold most small toy cars, plastic people, whatever. Kit includes glue, instructions and stickers and, while unpainted, is paintable. For ages 8 and up.
