History:
What is paracord? Paracord is a lightweight rope made of nylon kernmantle material that originated during World War II. Paracord was initially used by paratroopers to support the troops when they deployed their parachute. Many troops found the rope to be quite useful in the field from securing equipment, making boot laces, using the internal strands to act as sewing thread, and much more. Paracord has risen in popularity due to its endless possibilities for what it can be used for.
