Panlong HDMI to HDMI and Audio Converter HDMI 1.4 Audio Extractor Splitter Adapter with Digital Optical SPDIF TOSLINK + Analog 3.5mm Audio Output

This latest Panlong HDMI Audio Extractor has one HDMI 1.4 input, one HDMI 1.4 output, one optical SPDIF output and 3.5mm stereo audio output. It features 2.1CH and 5.1CH audio settings for using with different configurations. Ideal for Roku, Chromecast, game consoles, Blu-ray/DVD player, Apple TV, cable box etc.

HDMI PCM stereo audio will be converted to 2.1CH analog stereo and output through HDMI, Optical and 3.5mm out at the same time.

Toggle the switch to 5.1CH if incoming audio is 5.1CH Dolby Digital or DTS; then you will be able to extract the 5.1 surround sound to a receiver, amplifier or soundbar with decoding capability. The 3.5mm output will not have sound. (Optical SPDIF does NOT support 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus. For Roku and Chromecast, please use PCM mode for audio extraction.)

The HDMI output has identical video and audio signals as the HDMI input. HDMI supports all audio formats including Dolby Digital Plus, 5.1CH/7.1CH PCM and HD Audio (including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio). For 5.1CH PCM or above, connect output to AV receiver directly. Does not support ARC (B00JVNX8RO supports).
