Panlong HDMI Splitter Amplifier (1 In to 2 Out) with Audio Extractor via Optical SPDIF or RCA L/R Output

This Panlong HDMI Splitter 1x2 with Audio Extractor is designed to amplify input HDMI signal and duplicate it to two HDMI displays simultaneously. In addition, it can extract the digital 5.1CH/2CH audio embedded in HDMI and output it via optical SPDIF or RCA L / R stereo audio out. Perfect for those HDMI devices without dedicated audio output like Google Chromecast & Roku as well as Blu-ray player, Apple TV, cable box, PC etc.

Perfect solution for amplifiers or receivers that does not have HDMI inputs. Suitable for various HDMI source devices like Roku or Chromecast without dedicated audio output as well as Blu-ray/ DVD/ HD player, cable/satellite box, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, PS3/4, Xbox, PC/laptop, HD camera, HD DVR etc.

Three audio EDID settings for the best flexibility:
2CH Mode: Source device will send 2CH PCM stereo audio in HDMI which can be converted to 2CH analog stereo and output via RCA L/R (SPDIF and HDMI also have stereo audio output at the same time).

5.1CH Mode: Source device sends Dolby Digital / DTS which can be extracted via SPDIF out; The RCA L/R output will not have sound. SPDIF does NOT support 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus. Please turn off Dolby Digital Plus for Amazon Fire TV, Roku and Chromecast if no sound.

PASS: SPDIF and RCA will not have sound. Source device sends the highest audio format that receiver can handle. Supports pass-through of all current digital audio formats including Dolby Digital Plus, 5.1CH/7.1CH PCM and HD Audio (including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio).
