Panlong HDMI Splitter 1x2 / HDMI Audio Extractor Converter 1 In 2 Out with Optical Toslink & RCA Audio Output

This newest Panlong HDMI 1x2 Splitter with Audio Extraction is designed to amplify and distribute the input HDMI signal to 2 HDMI outputs simultaneously. It also repeats the digital audio embedded in HDMI and output it via optical SPDIF and/or RCA L / R stereo audio out for connection to an amplifier, receiver or speakers. It’s the first HDMI audio extractor on the market to have two HDMI outputs. Perfect for those HDMI devices without dedicated audio output like Google Chromecast & Roku.

It features three audio EDID settings for the best flexibility:
HDMI 2CH PCM stereo audio can be converted to 2CH analog stereo and output through RCA L/R and SPDIF at the same time.

Set EDID to "5.1CH" for Dolby Digital / DTS to output audio via SPDIF out; The RCA L/R output will not have sound if incoming audio is multi-channel audio (>2CH). SPDIF does NOT support 5.1CH PCM (Wii), 5.1 or 7.1 Dolby Digital Plus.

The HDMI output has identical video and audio signals as the HDMI input. HDMI supports all audio formats including Dolby Digital Plus, 5.1CH/7.1CH PCM and HD Audio (including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio). For 5.1CH PCM or above, set EDID to "pass", and connect output to AV receiver directly. Does not support ARC.
