“Good boy,” Peter says, cupping his neck and rubbing his back. “Telling us when it’s too much. Such a good boy for us.”

Evan feels a knot of anxiety he wasn't even aware of unclench. Peter is happy with him. He did what his alpha told him he should do when it was too much, and now Peter is pleased.

“Did it hurt too much?” Chad asks, tracing his rim, voice apologetic. Evan nods into Peter’s chest, feeling emotional, wrecked and safe.

“That’s good, Evan. You have to like it too,” Peter says, chest rumbling. Evan can feel it all the way into his bones. “If you don’t like it, you tell us. Just like you did now. I’m so proud of you.”
