The word maize comes from the work "maiz", originating with the seafaring pre-columbian Taino people who used this staple grain as a basic nutritional food. We call it corn, or shortened from Indian Corn. To celebrate the coming of fall, we made this beautiful trinket box 100% by hand using the finest crystal and enamel to grace your prized collectibles.
