Nursery Spread Filet Crochet Pattern Baby Blanket Crib Quilt with Cat Puppy Deer Duck Squirrel Rabbit Rooster Pig Swan
Little tots will adore this nursery spread worked in filet crochet. The crocheter will find it very simple to make. There are nine different designs given and an alternate block. You may use this alternate block or a block of fabric to set the quilt together.
Size: We suggest making it 5 wide and 7 blocks long; thus having a quilt about 47-1/2 x 66-1/2 inches. 18 crocheted animal and fowl block and 17 alternate or fabric blocks are required for the spread illustrated.
Materials: Approximately twenty – 250 yard balls of number 20 mercerized crochet thread are required to made these blocks; one and one-half yards of fabric.
If the alternate block is crocheted, you will need an additional fifteen – 250 yard balls of thread. Use a number 10 crochet hook. If a larger cover is desired add more motifs for length and width.
