Mike Mainieri reconnects with former Steps Ahead saxophonist Bendik Hofseth and some of Norway's finest instrumentalists. Recorded in Oslo, Norway with some their most notable musicians and guests including Nils-Petter Molvaer (trumpet), Bugge Wesseltoft (Keys), Eivand Aarset (guitar), Lars Danielsson (bass), Auden Engers (drums), Paolo Vinaccia (percussion), JanBang (live sampling), and DJ Strangefruit (turntables). Mike along with this Norwegian 'Posse' explore some new compositions and revisit some classic standards with a mix of acoustic and electronic arrangements that sets up a hypnotic mood that can send the listener into a trance.
