NiteRider Lumina 650 Light
Let us ask you a question -- when have you ever seen a bike light that was overkill? When you need to see the road ahead of you and remind others of your presence, a light can never be bright enough. That is, until now. The latest light from the NiteRider cordless series, the Lumina 650, puts out half the lumens of a standard car headlight to provide a level of brightness that goes toe-to-toe with your biggest threat in the saddle. The newest light from NiteRider, the Lumina is smaller and lighter than lights with external batteries. The battery and light are housed together in a self-contained Black and Silver body that saves weight by eliminating extra cords and straps. With the same power output as other NiteRider 650 lumen lights, the Lumina casts a broad beam to light up potholes or any other unseen hazard along the way. The light has four solid light levels -- high, medium, low, and walk, plus a flash mode that lets you adjust the brightness during your ride. Depending on your setting, the light will last 1.5 hours at 650 lumens, three hours at 400 lumens, 5.5 hours at 200 lumens, and 18 hours at 40 lumens. The single-piece construction of the Lumina 650 not only looks fabulous, but to avoid a mid-ride blackout, it also protects the battery from volatile weather. The newly designed handlebar mount also adds to its versatility. The quick-release mount holds securely in any riding condition and accommodates bars up to 31.8mm in diameter. The Lumina 650 comes with an additional helmet mount, making it a perfect companion to a brighter handlebar light during 24-hour races or late night trail rides. The NiteRider Lumina 650 Light comes with a USB charger and takes about 5.5 hours to reach a full-charge. The entire assembly weighs in around 172 grams.
