Emma€s life hasn€t been an easy one. She has had death, friendship, and a tramutic experience that left her feeling unsafe and hated by all. She left her hometown with her mother to a small town in Colorado hoping to get her life back.
Adam has had an easy life. He€s an udefeated underground street fighter. He has money, a supportive family, awesome friends, and any girl he could want. But his life is going to change when he meets his new neighbor.

Em reaches to open the door but I grab her arm to stop her. She raises one of her eyebrow and looks at me. Taking a deep breath I start my speech that I had practice in the locker room.
"Princess, Emma, Em. I have to tell you that when your mom first told me about you and how beautiful and sweet you were, I honestly thought you were going to be a queen bitch." She looks at me with a confused face, not knowing where I'm going with this. "And then I met you and thought you were a hot queen bitch." Now she looks pissed.
"But then I got to know you and realized how funny, smart, and sexy you are. I'm comfortable around you. I feel like I don't have to pretend to be this badass person because in a way you get me."
"Who says you€re a badass? I'm sorry Adam but even I could take you." I chuckle because really, she can't. "Let me finish." She waves her hand for me to continue.
"I love sleeping with you at night. I love cuddling with you and being the person who makes you comfortable enough to sleep. But I want more. I want more because my feelings for you demands it. I like you. And I want you. Will you Emma Colt please be my girlfriend and by saying yes, giving me the more?"
Em has her mouth wide open. I don't know why. It was a pretty good speech. Ok, maybe I shouldn't have called her a queen bitch but I was only being honest.
I leaned over and took her face on my hands. "Please say yes Ems." She looks me in the eyes. "I don't know if I can. Not because I don't want to but because there is something you should know about me but I'm not ready to tell you." I can't help it; I peck her lips and smile at her. She's so adorable.
